Our mission is to celebrate dance as an art form in Lethbridge by fostering a community of dance artists through education, creation, and performance.
About LSIDA
•
The Lethbridge Society of Independent Dance Artists or LSIDA, was created in 2015 recognizing the need for a dance support organization in our community. Over the past five years, LSIDA has offered weekly dance classes in various genres and training workshops by local and visiting artists. Our annual fundraiser is held in late spring / early summer and has provided over 200 local dancers the opportunity to connect with one another and perform locally. We value collaboration over competition and strive to develop a connected dance community for our city to enjoy for many years to come.

Dancers:
Connect through our classes and training opportunities.
Instructors:
We are always looking to add new instructors to our session class schedules. We’d love to hear from you and what you’d like to share with the community.
Choreographers:
Whether we’re helping you find local dancers, bring your ideas to life or your looking for development on your skills, LSIDA works hard to connect Choreographers with the community they need.
Volunteer:
Our annual fundraiser is a great way to support us as a volunteer. We’ve made many great friends through their volunteer work with LSIDA and it’s a wonderful way to connect with our growing dance community.
